Gayles Jewelers began in 1951 with its founders, Andy and Hazel Overton. With their love for each other, hard work, and faith in God, the store began. Three generations later, the dream continues. In 2000 when the reigns were passed from the Overton's daughter Carolyn McGehee, to her daughters, Cristi Tanner and Bridget Russell, they realized it was time to put away pen and paper and begin the second fifty years taking full advantage of the computer age.
